Do you support CFX tags? CFFile tags?
Yes, we support both CFX tags and CFFile tags. Several CFX tags are currently available on our servers. If there is a tag you would like us to include, just contact us. We will examine each tag for stability before using on our servers and we do reserve the right to not load any tags we feel may compromise the stability of our systems.
We also allow CFFILE. However, we need all our users to let us know if they will be using this facility.

Can I run ColdFusion Scheduled Tasks?
Yes Every ColdFusion includes 1 scheduled task for Free, additional task can be purchased from the hosting options menu.
A task may not run more than once per day, and must take 30 seconds or less to complete. You may contact our support staff to request a scheduled task.

Do I have to buy ColdFusion?
No. We purchase the licenses for its servers and allows our clients to use the ColdFusion service.
However, if you plan on doing heavy development work with ColdFusion, you may find it easier to purchase a copy of ColdFusion to do all your development locally, and only copy the finished product to our servers.

Do you support Verity Collections?
Yes, we do support verity collections. You may contact our support staff to request a verity collection.

Do I need any special tools to use ColdFusion?
No. Since ColdFusion integrates its special coding with normal HTML codes, any standard web authoring tool that allows editing of HTML can be used. This means that all development and debugging of a ColdFusion application can take place right on KnightWeb's servers. However, if you plan on doing heavy development work with ColdFusion, you may find it easier to purchase a copy of ColdFusion, DreamWeaver UltraDev or CF Studio to do all your development locally, and only copy the finished product to our servers.

What databases can I use with ColdFusion? You can use any ODBC-compliant database such as FoxPro, Access, Paradox, etc. Online also provides its clients with Microsoft SQL Server if requested (additional setup and monthly charges are involved). Please contact our support staff for help in setting up your databases.

What mail server do I need to specify when using CFMAIL
None. We set this property in the ColdFusion Administrator so you do not need to include it in your code.

Which ColdFusion tags are not available?
CFContent, CFObject & CFRegistry are disabled as security precautions

How do I add ColdFusion to my existing hosting plan?
