Webmail is another way to send and receive e-mail from home or on the road.
Webmail is e-mail that is accessible on a standard Web browser (e.g. Netscape Navigator or
Internet Explorer). Webmail is available for POP e-mail accounts on KnightWeb's web hosting or
e-commerce plans. E-mail can be read using any popular POP3 or LDAP e-mail client application,
such as Microsoft Outlook or Qualcomm Eudora, as well as by logging into WebMail.
Webmail can be accessed from any computer connected to the Internet:
1. Log into Webmail with your normal username.
2. Enter your e-mail userID and password (configured by the domain administrator).
3. Click "Login".
Webmail is easy-to-use with online help designed for everyone--from the e-mail newbie to
the small business owner. POP3 e-mail users within a domain are able to send and receive
e-mail from any Web browser, as well as store e-mail on the mail server instead of always
downloading to a local desktop e-mail client.
You can still buy additional POP3 accounts, which once configured, will support Webmail.
Note: Webmail uses HTTP/HTTPS protocol to send and receive e-mail and will be counted as part
of the hosting account's bandwidth quota. Disk space quota may also be impacted by the online
storage of large attachments and other e-mail messages by e-mail users.
